We are on the lookout for a Customer Service Coordinator to come and join our team in Huntworth Mill, TA6 6LQ.

This position is a great opportunity for a candidate who thrives on delivering fantastic customer service, a naturel people person who loves to help others.     

Job Type: Full time, Permanent 

Working hours: You will be contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm. There will also be a requirement to cover Saturdays on a rota basis, 8.00am until 2.00pm.

What you’ll be doing as Customer Service Coordinator: 

  • Making sure our customer expectations are met and orders placed on the mills are achievable
  • Monitor incoming calls and emails, to ensure that orders and queries are processed in a timely manner
  • Working with our Field Sales team on lead times and ensuring that all incoming orders are processed in a professional manner
  • Liaising with our Operations and Sales Team colleagues, to ensure that production constraints are considered, and customer expectations are effectively managed
  • Maintaining, and updating, a library of Standard Operating Procedures covering the general functions carried out by the team
  • Supporting with training and development requirements of colleagues from the Customer Service team and other areas of the business
  • Being able to prepare for, and attend, sales, and other meetings as and when required

  • Previous experience of working in a busy office environment and customer-based service role 
  • Strong administration skills and good attention to detail 
  • The ability to quickly learn and understand systems, processes, and procedures 
  • Confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner  
  • Calm and composed with a strong emphasis on customer service and empathy 
  • Commitment, drive, and enthusiasm
